FAQ

The Party Sharing App brings events, media and community together on one platform. You can discover events and join them, view photos and videos or contribute your own, communicate with other participants, and stay connected with artists, promoters, venues and other communities through @Rooms.

Depending on the event, different features, galleries, media areas and access options are available.

You can install Party Sharing App on supported Android and iOS devices and initially explore it in Guest Mode without an account. There, you can discover public and accessible areas, view events and get a first impression of PSA.

For protected features such as joining an event, uploading, accessing media or interacting, you will be prompted to register when required.

Private users register via a Social Login supported by PSA, such as Google, Apple or Facebook, and accept the required Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

For features that require a verified user, an additional user verification is carried out via an email verification link and a bot/human challenge. Phone number verification is separate and is required in particular for certain roles and security features.

PSA mainly distinguishes between private users and Business Accounts.

Private users can use events and @Rooms and, after the appropriate verification, can upgrade to a verified Host to create their own private events.

Business Accounts are intended, among others, for promoters, artists, photographers, event venues, companies and other professional providers.

Additional roles such as Event Host, Host Friend or Business Assistant are assigned for specific tasks and are not separate account types.

The app can be installed free of charge and initially explored in Guest Mode.

Depending on the event, galleries and media areas may be accessible free of charge or may require payment. For paid areas, you acquire Digital Access for the respective area. The price and available payment options are shown before you gain access.

There is therefore no obligation to use paid media areas.

Depending on availability, you can discover public events via Search, Nearby, Map View or other event areas.

Depending on the event, you may be able to join via the event page, a QR code, a link, an invitation or a location/check-in verification.

The applicable access method depends on the event and its settings.

The Event Room is the digital area for a specific event.

Depending on the event, it can include event information, chat and announcements, as well as galleries, albums, media areas, upload features and available Digital Access.

Each event has its own context and its own access and media rules.

The Open-Door Phase is the period after the actual event during which certain event features may remain available to users who are already authorized.

Depending on the event, upload, media processing, media access, streaming or download may continue to be available during this period.

The Open-Door Phase is not a new regular check-in phase. After it ends, the event may still appear under ended events with basic information, while galleries, media, chat and other event features are no longer accessible.

An @Room is the permanent area of a Business Account – for example, that of an artist, promoter, photographer, event venue or another community.

An @Room can provide special content, galleries, announcements, chats, polls and other enabled features.

An @Room is not a single event. It can remain available permanently and, depending on its settings, can be public, private or disabled.

With private events, verified Hosts can organize celebrations such as birthdays, weddings, family gatherings or other private events together with their guests and share media in a protected event area.

The 1-Click-Family-Event is an especially simple option for family and friends. The Host creates the event in just a few steps, invites contacts and collects shared photos and videos centrally in a private event gallery.

Private events and 1-Click-Family-Events do not have a PSA Share Gallery.

Photos and videos are organized clearly in PSA in galleries and albums.

The media you can upload depends on the event, gallery, your access and your role. For event uploads, factors such as event time, permitted recording period and media rules may be taken into account.

This ensures that media is assigned to the correct event and intended area.

This depends on the respective media area.

Some galleries and albums are accessible free of charge, while others require Digital Access. In addition, user status, event participation and the applicable gallery or media rules may determine which features are available.

Acquired Digital Access always applies only to the specific area that has been unlocked.

The PSA Share Gallery is a special PSA gallery within public events.

Participants can contribute their own event photos and videos and discover special moments from different perspectives. Approved media can participate in the Share Ranking.

The PSA Share Gallery is not available for private events, 1-Click-Family-Events, non-public Promoter Events or @Rooms.

If you have validly joined an eligible public event and meet the upload requirements, you can upload your own event photos and videos to the PSA Share Gallery.

To upload your own eligible media, you do not need to acquire Digital Access to other participants’ media beforehand.

As soon as at least one of your uploaded media files has been approved, you can be included in the Share Ranking.

Approved media earn points through valid Likes and Downloads.

Under the current model:

1 valid Like = 1 point
1 valid Download = 2 points

A maximum of three points can be generated per user and media file – one Like and one Download.

Your own Likes or Downloads, repeated interactions by the same user, and suspicious or abusive interactions do not count.

The Share Amount is the amount within a specific PSA Share Gallery that is formed in accordance with the applicable Share Rules from payments actually received and eligible for settlement for Share Gallery access.

Your personal Uploader Share Amount is determined by the ranking and point rules applicable to the event.

A displayed Uploader Share Amount does not automatically mean that it can be paid out immediately. Payouts are also subject to the applicable verification, minimum amount, identity and payout rules.

PSA processes data according to the relevant function and uses security, access and verification mechanisms appropriate to that function.

Depending on how you use PSA, account, event, media, access, device or location information may be processed where required for the respective function.

Full information on data processing, retention periods, data subject rights and services used can be found in the current Privacy Policy.

An account deletion can be requested directly through the designated PSA process. The account may initially be suspended or deactivated, and additional confirmation may be required.

Deletion does not automatically mean that all data is immediately removed from all technical systems. Data required, for example, for billing, security, complaints or statutory retention obligations may remain blocked or retained for longer in accordance with the applicable privacy and retention rules.
